Unit 104

Stunning ocean views span the horizon as you open the door of Kulakane 104. The islands of Lanai and Molokai frame the property’s panoramic vista. Walk right out from the ground level lanai and take a dip in the pool to cool off, or better yet, take a few steps down and wade in the warm water of the Pacific Ocean amongst the sea turtles and tropical fish.

This comfortable, one bedroom, one bathroom apartment situated near the southern end of the building is the ideal retreat for two with the luxurious Cal King bed plus the convertible couch with upgraded Queen mattress. All the comforts of home surround you. The full kitchen provides you with many opportunities to prepare and enjoy meals or snacks any time of the day. Community BBQ grills and laundry room are also available on-site for your convenience.

Experience glorious sunsets every evening and be awed by the presence of tranquil green sea turtles or honu, the migration of mighty humpback whales in winter, and the calming passage of kayakers and sailboats across the seascape in front of you.

The delightful neighborhood of Honokowai has a farmer’s market within walking distance and a fish market and other stores and restaurants a little further down the road. The snorkeling beaches of Ka’anapali are a short drive away or cruise up the coast and check out charming Napili Bay. You can even rent stand-up paddle boards at Kapalua Bay to the north and take an easy hike along the Coastal Trail with majestic views of Molokai island as you watch the acrobatic spinner dolphins dance through the air across the channel. You’ll find everything you need for a peaceful stay here on the Westside of Maui. My husband and I honeymooned in Maui over 15 years ago and fell in love with the island. On subsequent visits, we discovered the community at the Kulakane and that’s where we found our island ‘ohana or family. We hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.

  We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Kulakane in April 2024. Warm welcome with our family name and city of origin on the wipe board. Beautiful sunsets in the evening with Conche shells blowing at our and neighboring properties. The visiting turtles were truly remarkable and I haven't seen this many turtles in Maui for a long time. Quiet, clean, relaxing and beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

The management (Debbie Reynells & Tony Quin are exceptional.)Our rental condo was well equipped, the grounds well maintained, and traditional pupu gatherings introduced new friends. The size of the complex blends well with sharing travel experiences. The ocean front view is spectacular with what & turtle sightings every day.

  Our stay at KulaKane Unit 104 was amazing! The property was very clean, it was fully stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, had beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, cooler, and beach towels which we used everyday! The location was great, just 5-15 drive to great beach’s such as Kaanapali, Napili,Kapalua,Slaughterhouse, and Honolua. There are great restaurants just just a few minutes drive in either direction, a couple of our favorites were Java Jazz which also has nightly music, super cool Morrocan BoHo vibe. Also, The Beach House and The Fish Market had amazing seafood! The best plate lunch is at the Honolua Store which is at the golf course in Kapalua!😋 We loved sitting out on the lanai with cocktails and watching the sunset and listening to the waves. We are will definitely stay here next year. Mahalo to the friendly staff, you guys rock!��🤙❤️

  We rented four units at the Kulakane. There were 17 members of my family there. We loved blowing the conch shells at sunset, and the poo poo party on Friday night. The condo was well-maintained number 104. I would’ve liked to have had a larger table in the dining area and also a Lower table and chairs on the patio. Otherwise, everything was great!

  First of all, the location is what everyone wants when you visit Hawaii - an oceanfront location!! Steps from the ocean, low tide mornings to easily view the turtles swimming in the area, and breathtaking sunsets every evening. We were wondering how things would work out with possible ongoing landscape construction while visiting, but to our surprise there was no construction during our entire stay! Can't wait to come back again very soon and hopefully the construction will be complete! We highly recommend staying at the Kulakane Condo's. Aloha and Mahalo!!

  We knew there would be construction and were prepared for it so lacking a bit of a view of the ocean was not a big deal. We were never there during the day. As for the condo itself, it was great and had all the supplies and beach accessories you needed. Quiet place. BBQ'd quite a few times and the grill must be cleaned daily and all facilies were spot on. I would recomment both the location and condo unit. Loved the ground floor. Debbie in the office was great and even accepted an delivery package for me before my arrival. Don't go back to the same vacation place often but if we were to do Maui again, I would not hesitate to reach out for this location
