Kulakane Resort is a West Maui vacation rental property, located just a few miles north of historic Lahaina Town. Each vacation rental property is professionally managed and superbly maintained to the highest standards. Your Maui vacation can be enjoyed in one of our beachfront one-or-two bedroom condos which come fully furnished and equipped for your vacation.

Each oceanfront condo at the Kulakane Resort is unique because it was furnished and decorated by its individual owner. Individually decorated, each condominium offers a complete kitchen, free cable TV and free local telephone.

Kulakane Resort offers beautiful and affordable West Maui vacation rentals. All of the condos at the Kulakane Resort are located beachfront and offer a direct ocean view. We combine all the comforts of home and make Kulakane Resort your Home away from Home in paradise.

This was our first trip back since the tragic fire. It was so great to be back at our favorite condo in Kulakane. We absolutely love Tony & Debbie, and to see them, and that the place was still fantastic.....helped to absorb what complete devastation has happened to Maui. The locals have handled it with such honor and grace. It felt good to be there, planning to go next year !! We had a fabulous whale trip, that Debbie suggested. She has the best suggestions for any activities you want!!

As always Debbie has every detail in order making our trip only the best. Debbie and Tony's hospitality is the biggest single reason we come to the Kulakane - and yes we've been coming for over 20 years. they are terrific people. You have a few owners that made off comments about them we absolutely no understanding how much it takes to operate that facility. They (Ron and Debbie) i believe feel that they do all the work and don't have any respect for others feelings about making the culture there a positive experience. I could have done @ 71 what they did in a couple of hours but they made a HUGE deal about nothing getting done there without their hard work. I say Hooyie and if they can't say something NICE than don't say it at all just let it go! Again Thank Debbie and Tony for being such wonderful people and know that place would fall apart without those two wonderful - committed team members. We will be back and thanks for making these past 20+ years some of the best of our lives. Yes the best Sincerely Jim and Kathy

Location of this rental is great because it is away from big resorts, but not too far from beaches , shopping and restaurants. It’s quiet and the managers are awesome. We stayed in 214. It was everything we needed with full kitchen and it was roomy being it was a corner unit. It could use a deep clean , but overall it was nice. The construction is wrapping up now. We weren’t disturbed too much as they finished there day early enough that we were able to enjoy and relax after our day at the beach and other excursions. From the U.P. Of Michigan, I’m sure we will return one day!!

I was able to view the unit online before booking the condo. It was actually even nicer than the pictures! The location was great and the perfect location for operating out of to tour Maui. Nice little coffee shop a short walking distance away, fuel just down the road (although if you go a little further you'll save about 30 cents a gallon), and a nice Safeway a short drive toward Lahaina. The property was very quiet at night and what a wonderful view of the ocean. Property management was very nice, helpful and professional. I would recommend this unit to anyone. New landscaping is going in so it will really be a great place here shortly!

Debbie and her husband are very kind and accommodating. My girl friends and I initially made a reservation for a 2 bedrooms. Debbie was so kind and work with us by switching our reservation when one of my girl friends couldn't make it. They are very lovely and responsive hosts. We had the corner unit, the open concept feels bright and airy. The oceanfront sunset view on the patio is not to be missed. Grab some wine and snack/dinner down the street and enjoy.

Kulakane is always our favorite place to stay on Maui. We love the location and most especially Tony and Debbie, the managers! We always feel like we are welcomed as family. They always have great recommendations! As we weren't traveling during covid, with concerns......we realized that Kulakane is perfect. All outdoor entrances, outdoor settings for bbq, pool....and we could walk to market, fish market.......parks, beach and snorkeling. Anyway, we did most of our cooking in our amazing kitchen with the best views ever and watched the whales and turtles. There was some construction happening, and it surprised us how accommodating they were and less noise than we expected. We will definitely be back!!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful condo with us. We have stayed at the Kulakane before, but this was our first time in this unit. The views are excellent, right on the beach, and we saw turtles every day. The condo was clean and the breeze through the open windows kept us cool at night. The property was well kept and Debbie in the office was extremely helpful in getting us set up and making sure we were comfortable.

This room was not nearly large enough to accommodate the four people registered. There is a sofa-bed in the living area, yes, but that leaves no room for people to access the kitchen or balcony. Worse, the bathroom is sort of carved out of hte hallway between the bedroom and the living space, with a sliding door that doesn't really close and gives little privacy to the toilet and shower.

We ended up renting a room at the Kulakane down the street for two in our party, so we had something to compare to as well. There the room was well stocked with beach gear to borrow, all kitchen implements, a good refrigerator. Paki Maui had none of these things.

The grassy area between the hotel and beach and the beach itself were fine. The room was clean. The staff wasn't there a lot, but they were nice.

Comfortable unit. Well equipped for cooking. Furniture comforrable to sit in. Has good internet and TV on demand. Great view of the ocean. All units’ bedrooms face the road side so a title noisy at times but can’t be helped. Great barbecues for cooking meals. Near bus route.

We love the Kulakane and have been returning here since our first stay in 2000. The location is great, the views from lanai are unbelievable,grounds are kept immaculate by Tony and Debbie is a great office clerk. Our only complaint is minor and it is that this condo needs a few more basic items for the kitchen. A cutting board would be nice, and pans bigger than a 2 Qt saucepan(can't cook enough pasta or vegetables for even 2 people) really should be standard. Otherwise, we love the Kulakane and this particular condo.

This condo exceeded our expectations on every count. All needs were catered for 100%. The appliances were all top quality and in perfect working order. This was the first condo we have rented during a number of visits to Hawaii that met our hopes in their entirety. The fact that we had retail premises nearby but not too close was also an advantage.
